PUBLIC EVENT: GORVERNMENT VETERAN MARKER CLEANING EVENT

STATUS: OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Haltom City and American Legion Post 655 will be hosting WRRF volunteers at New Trinity Cemetery in Haltom City, Tarrant County, Texas. Volunteers will be cleaning government issued grave markers, resetting graves, fundraising, and distributing flyers to the community. Join us in serving those who served our country and protected our freedoms. Help us ensure they are never forgotten.

A morning volunteer event will take place the same day from 9am-11am.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 or older or accompanied by a parent/guardian.

• Registration is required and all volunteers must acknowledge the WRRF Waiver/Media release.

• Be in general good health and able to work for a minimum of 90 minutes in an outdoor environment.

• Conduct yourself in a dignified & respectful manner at all times.

• Watch volunteer instructional video above prior to the event start time.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• WRRF will provide water & snacks at the event.

• Events can be cancelled due to bad weather. WRRF will make every effort to notify volunteers the day prior.
