COMMUNITY CEMETERY PARTNERSHIP

WRRF Partner Cemetery requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Qualified cemeteries will be placed on the WRRF waiting list.

Any individual may nominate a cemetery for partnership, provided that one or more veterans are interred there. If the cemetery cannot be contacted or does not sign the WRRF Partner Cemetery Agreement within 45 days, it will be removed from the waiting list.

When funding becomes available, WRRF will notify the cemetery and schedule the commencement of onsite services.

VETERAN NEXT-OF-KIN PARTNERSHIP

When a WRRF Partner Cemetery agreement is not available, Next-of-Kin may authorize WRRF services for an individual veteran’s gravesite.

Any verified Next-of-Kin may request participation on behalf of their veteran, provided the cemetery permits access for care and documentation. If the cemetery declines to enter into a WRRF Partner Agreement, WRRF may still provide services for the individual veteran with proper family authorization and cemetery approval for site access.
