Join the WRF to clean veteran grave markers, install bronze flag holders, and place 12x18 American flags for veterans at Smithson Valley Cemetery in Spring Branch, Texas.

Volunteer Requirements:

Must be 18 or older, or accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Sign up using the form at the bottom of the page.
Limited to 6 volunteers; selection is first-come, first-served. Additional volunteers may be placed on a standby roster. WRF will email selected volunteers—please do not attend unless contacted.

Additional Information:

No restrooms on-site, but nearby gas stations are available on Hwy 281.
Wear closed-toed shoes, dress for the weather, and bring your own water supply.
All volunteers must acknowledge the release of liability on the form below. WRF may email additional paperwork for electronic signing before participation.
Please bring a form of ID for confirmation on the day of the event.

Liability Disclaimer:

I hereby grant to the Warriors Remembrance Foundation, including its affiliates and assigns (each entity, individually, and all entities, collectively, referred to as the “WRF”), the absolute and irrevocable rights to record, broadcast, capture via film or digital photography, audio, and/or video, publish, use, and disseminate still photographs, video, art, illustration, motion pictures, internet, audio recordings, digital images, or other images (all of which are referred to as “Images”) taken of me, in perpetuity, in any media now known or later developed, including but not limited to print media, television media, internet media, radio media, film, video and audio (all of which are referred to as “Media”). 1) I hereby consent to have WRF take Images of me and use those Images in Media. 2) WRF has the right, without limitation, to edit, mix, duplicate, use or re-use the Images and to disseminate and make other use of the Images in any Media whatsoever, for any purposes, including but not limited to advertising, publicity, sales promotion, information, or education. Ownership of the Images and the right to copyright the Images shall be with WRF solely, and I hereby irrevocably transfer and assign to WRF any right, title, or interest I have in any Image or in any copyright related to an Image or its use. 3) In addition to the Images, WRF may record and use my name, likeness, voice, performance, and skills. 4) I understand that the photographs, videotape, or interview shall become the property of WRF and I shall not have any rights to the same. 5) The use and/or re-use of Images of me by the WRF as described above will not violate the rights of any person or organization, and will not create any liability for payment to any person or organization. 6) For the rights, responsibilities, and benefits granted to WRF as described above, I have agreed to waive all claims for further compensation for the taking and use of the Images described herein. In addition, I hereby release all of WRF and their employees or contracted vendors from any claim or liability arising from the taking or using of the Images described above, including but not limited to any claim I might have for invasion of privacy, defamation, or misappropriation. 7) I understand that I will not be financially compensated by WRF for my participation in the project. Disclaimer & Release: Parents must complete if participant is under 18 years old. In consideration of this entity being accepted, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and any minor child (if applicable), waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages that I have against WRF for this project in any way, and assign for any and all injuries suffered by me in said event, including travel to and from the event. This consent form has been explained to my satisfaction and I fully understand its contents.
