PUBLIC EVENT: LEGACY TUESDAY
STATUS: ACCEPTING APPOINTMENTS/WALK-INS (FIRST COME/FIRST SERVE)
WRRF, in partnership with Patriots Hall’ of Dripping Springs, will host a Legacy Tuesday event open to all veterans and family members seeking to learn more about WRRF or request services. Appointments are booked for 1-hour sessions. For expedited filings please bring a copy of the veterans DD214 and death certificate (as applicable)
WRRF assist families of deceased veterans needing to file for or requesting:
Presidential Memorial Certificates (new or replacement)
Government issued grave markers, medallions, plaques, and urns
US Burial Flags
Military Funeral Honors
Burial Allowances (for eligible claims within 24 months of the veteran’s passing)
Texas Memorial Flag (eligible families only-12 months of Veteran’s passing)
Both living veterans and family members of deceased veterans may also be eligible for:

Department of Navy Burial at Sea Program
Department of the Army Burial Program (Arlington National Cemetery)
Cold War Recognition Certificate
Military Records Corrections
Character of Discharge Determination/Upgrade
