JESSE MENDEZ

Jesse Mendez is a native of San Antonio, Texas, and a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned his commission in the United States Marine Corps. After serving over 20 years in the Marine Corps, including two deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan, Jesse retired from active duty and settled in the Hill Country of Comal County, Texas.

Beyond his own military service, Jesse’s commitment to his country continues through his family, with his son-in-law, also an Aggie, serving as an Apache pilot in the U.S. Army.

Following his military career, Jesse dedicated six years to education, teaching Math, Science, and Computers to students in grades 2-5, 7-9, and 12, aiming to make a positive impact as educators had done for him. He is currently employed by an engineering firm.

Jesse’s diverse experience in the military, education, and engineering equips him with a unique perspective and a deep commitment to service.
